Semefab operates 3 wafer fabs on the Glenrothes site.

Utilising its Fabs 1, 2 & 3 as appropriate to the process flow, Semefab provides a volume foundry service to its customers. Standard process building blocks do exist, but Semefab offers the added advantage of customising the process steps to the customer's specific requirements.

Fab1:

Fab1 supports 4" CMOS/Bipolar technologies down to 2 - 3 micron dimensions.

Fab2:

Fab2 supports 6" & 4" MEMS technologies down to 0.8 micron dimensions.

Our MEMS fab's infrastructure is completely autonomous to both fab1 & fab3 thus eliminating any risk of cross-contamination.

Fab3:

Fab3 supports 6" CMOS/Bipolar technologies down to 0.8 micron dimensions.
