MEMS Volume Foundry
Our MEMS fab's infrastructure is completely autonomous to both
fab1 & fab3 with independent air handling and waste streams
thus eliminating any risk of cross-contamination.
Semefab's MEMS Fab2 is a 600 square metre class 100
operation (class 10 Photo) supporting 6" & 4" volume foundry of
MEMS technologies down to 0.8µm.
Semefab presently supports several volume foundry
agreements for Pressure sensors; Thermopiles; Gas sensors;
Bolometers; Medical MEMS devices.
Semefab has strategic interests in the MEMS Energy Harvesting
and Medical MEMS segments and sustains a strong strategic interest
in its sensor technologies portfolio.
In conjunction with the commercialisation model, the Semefab
volume value proposition allows cost-effective development coupled
to seamless transition from development to volume. This volume
value proposition ensures optimal internal knowledge transfer
between Semefab's process development team and its process
engineering team.
Fab2 is an ISO9001 & ISO14001 accredited environment.
