Semefab sets sight on growth

Semefab made it onto the front page of February's 'Fife Business Matters Update' newsletter. FBM Update features local news from around the Fife region with this month's cover story focusing on Semefab's successful growth during 2020 and 2021, which was a challenging time for all businesses.

Semefab increased revenue by 15 percent to £13.4 million. Much of the growth was related to the production of products in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. Semefab's Managing Director, Allan James commented that: "2021 was a good year for the business. Our pressure sensor customers showed strong growth, particularly in low pressure sensors for ventilators, respirators and isolation wards. This year, the projection is for further growth. We have forecast an increase of 20 to 30 percent and have a strong development pipeline of new six-inch wafer technology platforms and products in both MEMs sensors and Power Semiconductors."
